  Equipment Overview

  The interfacial shear high-temperature viscometer is an instrument primarily designed to characterize and quantitatively measure the shear rheological properties of gas–liquid and liquid–liquid interfaces. Compared with conventional rheometers, it enables the detection of phenomena occurring within a thickness of just a few nanometers. This instrument can comprehensively determine the shear rheological parameters of thin films, including interfacial viscosity, elastic modulus, viscous modulus, compliance, and relaxation time.

  ● Equipped with a high-temperature visual rheological testing module, it enables steady-state shear, dynamic oscillation, creep‑recovery, stress relaxation, and temperature sweep measurements at elevated temperatures. It also provides real-time visualization of the sample‑testing process, allowing for live monitoring of rheological tests with simultaneous photo and video recording; data are linked to corresponding images for direct comparison.

  ● The high-temperature visualization test module features seamless switching between conventional illumination and polarized light.

  ●The interface testing module shall be equipped with a double-cone measurement fixture and capable of automatically detecting the interface.

  ● Expandable high-temperature, high-pressure rheology measurement module, with a maximum temperature of 300°C and a maximum pressure of 100 MPa; expandable small-angle laser light scattering rheology measurement module; expandable powder flow cell and powder shear sample cell modes for powder rheology measurements. The powder flow cell can be used to determine the flow properties of compacted powders, and with additional accessories, temperature and humidity can be fully controlled.
